Barings’ Global High Yield Investments Group is seeking a candidate for an Associate Director position within their High Yield investments team in London. The candidate will be responsible for analysing and evaluating specific industries investment opportunities within the high yield and leveraged finance space.
Primary Responsibilities: Originate, perform analysis and due diligence and present new investment ideas Conduct fundamental credit analysis of global corporate credit without any bias to industry or sector Conduct financial statement analysis and detailed financial modelling Meet with management teams, develop industry contacts, and utilize other information sources to develop investment theses Produce clear and concise research based on independent observation and analysis to be presented to the Investment Committee Assist with special ad-hoc projects, presentations and initiatives Qualifications: Experience working in high yield or leverage finance space Ability to perform under pressure and meet time sensitive deadlines Commitment to task and an attention to detail Strong computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Office, Bloomberg, etc.
