Responsibilities

Preferred candidate needs heavy GTAW experience in stainless steel Accurately and efficiently use calipers, weld fixtures, tape measures, and other welding hand tools Utilize handheld tools such as a handheld screw gun, drill gun, and grinders Must be able to work from drawings and sketches, read and understand manuals/specifications or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished products, sequence of operations and set up requirements.

Willing and able to learn CNC Press Brake and/or other equipment as needed Verify accuracy of machine settings to confirm accurate tolerances and machine functions. Operators will be required to maintain tolerances of 0.01”-0.03” During operations Operator will be required to maintain cleanliness of area Communicates with Leadership, production control, quality, and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues.

May perform other duties as assigned by Leadership. Forklift experience preferred but not required.

Requirements

2+ years of experience welding stainless Strong understanding of manufacturing processes Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Strong attention to detail and quality control skills. Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) Basic math skills and ability to read blueprints and manuals.

Driver’s License and a reliable work vehicle. Authorized to work in the United States Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently Preferred Qualifications: Experience with stainless steel and UHMW conveyor components. Knowledge of quality control and testing procedures. Work Environment: The Welder/Fabricator job is typically performed in a manufacturing environment with a fast-paced and dynamic atmosphere.

The work environment is clean and organized, with a focus on safety and quality control. The job requires standing and walking for long periods, as well as lifting and moving heavy objects. The work schedule is typically Monday-Friday, 6am-4:30pm, with mandatory overtime as needed. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
