Special Education Teacher (1.0 FTE), Setting 1-3 ASD and Work Based Learning Teacher - Roseville Area High School

Description: Roseville Area Schools has a vacancy for a Special Education Teacher at Roseville Area High School (ASD license preferred). This is a full-time, 1.0 FTE position beginning August 31, 2026, for the 2026-2027 school year. The licensed Special Education Teacher develops and provides specialized instruction aligned to the state standards to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities; evaluates and assesses student progress against instructional objectives; follows state-mandated due process procedures and functions as IEP Manager to assigned students; collaborates with general education staff; communicates regularly with parents/guardians; schedules students and paraprofessionals; and supervises paraprofessionals.

This position includes case management of federal setting I-III students with ASD as well as teaching the following courses: Social Skills/Social Skills for Work, Academic Seminar, College and Career Seminar and Health Essentials in Special Education plus Career Seminar in General Education.

Qualifications

A MN Teaching License in Special Education is required. ASD preferred.

Compensation

Minimum full year, full time starting salary is $53,085, plus a generous benefits package.
