Marketing Communications Manager
Job description
At Columbia Vehicle Group, we believe electric vehicles should do more than just transport. They should transform the way people and businesses move. Columbia's work-utility vehicles keep industries running smoothly, while Tomberlin's luxury low-speed vehicles deliver an elevated driving experience. Together, we're reimagining micromobility for the modern world.
As part of the Nordic Group of Companies, a family-owned American business since 1946, we design and manufacture high-quality, long-lasting electric vehicles under stringent U.S. quality control. We recently moved into a 150,000-square-foot manufacturing facility right here in Aiken, a reflection of our growth and commitment to innovation.
Why You'll Love It Here ● Be part of an innovative, growing company in the electric vehicle space. ● Work on next-generation products serving commercial, industrial, and consumer markets. ● Join a culture built on integrity, teamwork, and long-term sustainability. Your Mission: Tell Our Story, and Tell It Well You'll lead marketing communications for both Columbia and Tomberlin, keeping every message consistent, on-brand, and built to drive engagement and growth.
This role calls for exceptional writing, a sharp ear for brand voice (rugged commercial on one side, polished consumer on the other), and the ability to keep multiple initiatives moving at once. From integrated campaigns and promotions to sales announcements and PR, you'll be at the center of how the world hears about us.
What You'll Own ● Develop and execute integrated marketing communications strategies across digital, print, and social media. ● Own the content calendar and oversee creation and deployment of consumer and commercial campaigns. ● Plan and manage promotions, product launches, and announcements aligned with brand goals. ● Write and edit sales announcements, blog posts, landing pages, emails, press releases, and other branded assets.
● Lead public relations efforts, including managing media lists and drafting press materials. ● Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure brand consistency and message clarity. ● Track and report on campaign performance metrics. What You Bring to the Table ● Exceptional written and verbal communication skills ● High-level organization and project management capabilities ● Strong understanding of content marketing, social media strategy, and campaign execution ● Ability to tailor tone and messaging for distinct audiences (commercial vs.
consumer) ● Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM platforms (e.g., Hub. Spot, Odoo, Prowly) ● Comfort working in a fast-paced, multi-brand environment Bonus Points If You Have ● A bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field ● 5+ years of experience in a communications, PR, or content marketing role ● Manufacturing or B2B and B2C brand experience ● Proficiency in content management systems and social media scheduling tools ● Confidence interfacing with sales, executives, and external media contacts Ready to Plug In?
If you're looking for a career where you can make an impact, grow with an industry leader, and help shape the future of micromobility, we'd love to hear from you.
