Summary of Role: Global. Foundries’ Corporate Finance & Accounting Team is seeking an eager intern to gain hands-on experience in technical accounting and related finance functions.

This role will support accounting research, financial reporting, month-end close, internal controls, audit activities, and the evaluation of contract accounting implications under GAAP. Essential Responsibilities include: Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations as part of the accounting month-end close.

Assist in the preparation of the company’s financial statements. Analyze potential accounting transactions and perform research as needed. Review accounting processes within the company and assist with internal control documentation. Assist in audits while building relationships with other departments. Assist in the review of contracts and evaluate the accounting implications in accordance with GAAP.

Other Responsibilities: Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs. Required Qualifications: Education – At least a sophomore at time of application and actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field through an accredited degree program during the time of internship.

Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and be in good academic standing. Language Fluency

• English (Written & Verbal) Ability to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship.

Prior related internship or co-op experience Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc. Strong interest in leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support effective decision-making. Project management skills, i.

e., the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity. Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong planning & organizational skills Strong attention to detail, sense of urgency, and ability to prioritize. Curious and inquisitive mindset with the ability to challenge and improve processes.
