Housekeeping Supervisor

Description Our hotel is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to support daily housekeeping operations and ensure rooms and public areas meet our cleanliness and service standards. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who motivates staff, communicates clearly, and maintains a positive, professional work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Team Support & Daily Operations

• Lead and support room attendants, housepersons, and laundry staff throughout the shift
• Assign room boards, monitor progress, and adjust workloads based on occupancy
• Conduct pre-shift briefings and communicate priorities, updates, and expectations
• Assist with training new team members on cleaning standards and procedures Quality Control & Inspections
• Inspect guest rooms, hallways, and public areas for cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance needs
• Document deficiencies and ensure timely corrections
• Verify room status and communicate updates to Front Desk and Housekeeping leadership
• Support deep cleaning projects and special assignments Guest Service & Communication
• Respond promptly to guest requests and service issues
• Maintain a calm, professional demeanor when handling concerns or escalations
• Coordinate with Maintenance on work orders and room readiness Inventory & Administrative Tasks
• Monitor supply levels and restock carts and closets as needed
• Assist with inventory counts and usage tracking
• Maintain inspection logs, training checklists, and daily reports Requirements Qualifications
• Previous hotel housekeeping experience required; supervisory experience preferred
• Strong communication, leadership, and time-management skills
• Ability to coach staff respectfully and maintain a positive team culture
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals, and safety standards
