About the role

As an Announcer / Brand Experience Specialist, you'll be the voice of our brand both on-air and out in the community, creating engaging content and memorable experiences that connect with audiences across multiple platforms. Working closely with the Content Director and broader content team, you'll help deliver great on-air moments while also supporting promotions, activations and station initiatives that bring our brand to life!

What you’ll do Hosting and preparing for on-air shifts Developing content and promotions that grow audience engagement Contributing to show planning, strategy and creative sessions Staying across trends, entertainment and pop culture to keep content fresh and relevant Representing the station at events, promotions, client activations and community engagements Assisting with the coordination and execution of station promotions, competitions and giveaways Supporting the day-to-day operations of the content team, helping coordinate programming, promotions, scheduling and administrative activities that keep the station running smoothly Building strong connections with listeners, clients and community partners Bringing energy, personality and authenticity to every interaction, both on-air and off-air What you’ll need Experience as an Announcer, Brand Experience Specialist, Promotions Assistant or similar media, entertainment or content-focused role Proven ability to engage audiences through audio, digital, social or experiential content Strong understanding of contemporary music, entertainment and pop culture Excellent communication, presentation and content creation skills A passion for great radio, digital content and audience growth Experience representing a brand at events, promotions or community activations Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment A collaborative mindset and willingness to jump in and support different areas of the business A current driver's licence and flexibility to work outside standard hours when required for events and activations What we offer Salary Packaging – Access novated leasing and exclusive discounts on top brands and tickets for a range of entertainment experiences Fitness Passport – Enjoy discounted access to a broad range of gyms and swimming pools across Australia Parental Leave – Generous paid parental leave and 5 days paid fertility leave Exclusive perks – Working in media comes with a heap of perks including discounts on top brands, behind-the-scenes access, & industry tickets Birthday & Volunteer Leave – celebrate your birthday with a paid day off, plus enjoy an additional day each year to volunteer for a charity or cause that matters to you.
