Operations Supervisor - Queenstown

We are now looking for an exceptional Operations Supervisor to join our Queenstown team and help ensure our operation continues to run smoothly, safely, and efficiently.

About the Role

This is a hands-on leadership position where no two days are the same. You'll play a key role in supporting our driving team, coordinating daily operations and ensuring our services are delivered safely and on time. Working closely with drivers, depot staff, and management, you'll be the go-to person for operational support, problem-solving, and maintaining service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day leadership and support to driving and operations staff Ensure services are operating safely, efficiently, and to schedule Monitor compliance with company policies and transport regulations Investigate and resolve operational issues as they arise Support driver performance, engagement, and development Maintain a strong health, safety, and wellbeing culture Deliver excellent customer service and represent the Ritchies brand positively Assist with rostering, reporting, and other operational administration as required What You'll Bring We're looking for a motivated leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting people to succeed.

To be successful, you'll have: Experience in a supervisory, team leadership, or operational role Strong communication and relationship-building skills Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities A proactive, can-do attitude and the ability to think on your feet A commitment to safety, compliance, and operational excellence Experience in transport, logistics, tourism, or a similar industry is advantageous A Class 2 or Class 4 NZ Licence and P Endorsement would be beneficial Why Join Ritchies?
