Montessori Lead Toddler Teacher

Overview

A Little Journey Montessori School is seeking a Full Time Lead Toddler Teacher to join our team. This is a full-time position with 38 - 40 hours per week that supports children ages 18 months to 3 years old in a high-quality Montessori environment.

Responsibilities

Lead the toddler classroom using Montessori principles and developmentally appropriate practices. Prepare and maintain an orderly, engaging learning environment. Observe and document child development and progress. Communicate effectively with families and team members. Support classroom assistants and collaborate with school leadership.

Ensure safety, supervision, and adherence to licensing and school policies.

Qualifications

Montessori Infant/Toddler credentials (MACTE, AMS) preferred. Experience working with children under the age of 3. Strong classroom management and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively and maintain professionalism. CPR/First Aid certification or must obtain within 30 days of hire. Schedule: Would vary Monday through Friday within the hours of 7:30 am - 4:30 pm.
