Accounting Manager - Canada Tax

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and file corporate (T2) and personal (T1) tax returns. Assist with GST/HST filings, payroll taxes, and other routine submissions. Support basic tax planning to help reduce tax liabilities. Stay updated with Canadian tax rules and regulations. Review financial data to ensure accurate tax calculations. Handle basic tax notices and communicate with authorities when needed.

Use accounting software like QuickBooks, Xero, and Case. Ware. Maintain bookkeeping records and prepare financial reports. Coordinate with the team to complete tasks on time.

Requirements

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Minimum 4-5 years of experience in Canadian taxation & accounting Strong knowledge of Canadian tax laws, CRA regulations, and compliance Experience with T1, T2, GST/HST, and payroll tax filings Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, Case. Ware, Tax.
