Diesel Mechanic

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our client, a diesel engine repair business in Potchefstroom, is looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join its workshop on a permanent, onsite basis. The successful candidate will service, inspect and maintain vehicles, fit and maintain engines, and carry out auto-electrical work, following correct procedures, safety requirements and technical standards.

The position is available immediately. KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Servicing, inspection and maintenance of motor vehicles
• Engine fitting and maintenance
• Auto-electrical work
• General vehicle servicing and mechanical maintenance
• Applying correct procedures, safety requirements and technical standards Requirements MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Diesel Mechanic
• Valid driver's licence
• Auto-electrical background will be advantageous
