Lead Linehaul Driver – Home Daily – Minimum $1,800/Week Guaranteed New Haven, IN Pay: Minimum $1,800 per week guaranteed Opti. Route Logistics is seeking an experienced CDL-A Lead Driver to support our growing FedEx Linehaul operation in New Haven, Indiana. This position combines a dedicated linehaul driving role with additional leadership responsibilities supporting driver onboarding, training, operational consistency, and safety culture.

• Home Daily
• Assigned PM Runs
• Typically 5 days per week
• Optional 6th day available for additional income
• Minimum weekly guarantee of $1,800 for qualifying workweeks

• $1,000 sign-on bonus paid after 30 days of safe, compliant employment Lead Driver Responsibilities This position includes additional leadership responsibilities and is intended for experienced drivers who demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and a commitment to helping others succeed.
• Assist with onboarding and mentoring new drivers, helping them learn company procedures, safety expectations, and FedEx operational requirements
• Identify safety, compliance, equipment, or operational issues early and help maintain a culture of professionalism, accountability, and operational excellence
• Perform fleet readiness duties such as replenishing supplies, coordinating truck moves, assisting with weekly truck inspections, and helping maintain equipment standards Pay Structure Compensation is based on FedEx settlement miles:
• Trips under 50 miles: Starting at $1.20 per mile
• Trips 51–150 miles: Starting at $0.85 per mile
• Trips over 150 miles: Starting at $0.70 per mile Requirements
• Valid CDL-A License
• Doubles/Triples endorsement (or willingness to obtain/train)
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pass DOT drug screening and background requirements
• Strong safety record and leadership mindset
• Reliable attendance and professional communication skills
