Evening Case Manager

Unity House of Troy, Inc. is seeking a compassionate Victim Advocate to support survivors of domestic and sexual violence in our residential shelter. Ideal candidates are empathetic, dependable, and comfortable working second shift. $1250 sign on bonus may apply to those who qualify (prorated for PT) Shifts Available: 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM 5:00 PM – 1:00 AM ( Overtime opportunities available ) Responsibilities: Provide trauma-informed, victim-centered support and case management Assist clients with housing searches, safety planning, and life skills development Answer hotlines and provide crisis intervention and referrals Promote a culture of inclusion and respect Qualifications: 1+ year of experience working with domestic violence survivors or a similar population Valid NYS driver’s license and reliable transportation Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred Spanish-speaking a plus Benefits: 13 paid days off in the first year (increases annually) + 56 hours NYS Sick Leave 12 paid holidays + 2 floating holidays + major medical leave Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance 403(b) company contributions after one year Gym, tuition, and cell phone discounts 50% childcare tuition discount at A Child’s Place Unity House is a Rensselaer County-based human service agency that provides a wide range of services to meet the otherwise unmet needs of people in our community who are hurting and struggling.
