Cleaning Operative - 3 Month Contract Local Authority | 3 Month Contract Location: Sandgate Industrial Estate, Southwark, Surrey, SE15 1LE Rate: £20.60 per hour (Umbrella) Contract: 3 Month Contract Hours: 36 Hours Per Week Pay: Bi-Weekly Summary We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning Operative to join our Local Authority estate services team for a 3-month contract.

This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and safety of communal areas within the estate, ensuring they are welcoming and well-kept for both residents and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

Clean and maintain communal areas such as stairwells, corridors, entrances, and shared facilities. Remove litter, waste, and any fly-tipped items from estate grounds. Ensure both internal and external communal spaces are kept clean. Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks across the estate. Identify and report any defects, hazards, or maintenance issues.

Adhere to health and safety procedures and service standards. Contribute to keeping the estates tidy, safe, and visually appealing at all times. Essential Requirements Requirements: Experience in cleaning or estate services is preferred. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. Strong attention to detail.

Dependable and professional work ethic. Knowledge of health and safety practices. Capability to perform physical tasks related to estate cleaning and maintenance. What's on Offer?
