Systems Engineer

Systems Engineer Gnostech LLC has an immediate opening for a Systems Engineer to support its expanding engineering services business. This position is ideal for a motivated professional who enjoys working in a collaborative team environment where creative solutions are encouraged, technically challenging problems are the norm, and emerging technologies are applied to real-world mission requirements.

This is an on-site position located in Warminster, Pennsylvania. The position requires working in a secure lab environment. The Systems Engineer will support a small engineering team developing and sustaining multiple-security-level (MLS) systems and cross-domain solution (CDS) capabilities incorporating virtualized environments, VPN technologies, secure network architectures, and controlled information-sharing mechanisms.

The engineer will assist with system design, integration, testing, documentation, troubleshooting, configuration management, and operational support across security domains. The ideal candidate has a strong interest in systems engineering, secure network design, virtualization, cybersecurity, and cross-domain technologies.

The applicant must have a hunger for knowledge, an ability to work effectively within a small technical team, and a desire to understand the latest advancements in technology and apply them to complex mission requirements.

Warminster, PA Job Title: Systems Engineer Salary: Depending on Experience Shift: M-F, Days Travel: Less than 10% (maybe 4-5 weeks per year; CONUS) Position Responsibilities Support the current line of products, helping maintain system security posture and troubleshooting issues as they arise. Provide direct communication and support to the critical stakeholders and system users.

Assist in the research and evaluation of new technology and solutions to help drive the product line into the next generation. Perform product design using engineering best-practices. Participate in the development of technical documentation, user manuals, white papers, and presentations. Develop a strong working knowledge of DoD and commercial security regulations.

Shell) Understanding of Cybersecurity best practices Applicant must be a US citizen Additional Desired Qualifications, Skills, Certifications Passion for education and desire to obtain new knowledge and/or certificates Experience administering and implementing cross-domain solutions Experience in areas such as Natural Language Processing (NLP), computer vision, or reinforcement learning Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Familiarity with Linux SE experience and Linux Security Module Familiarity with Splunk administration Experience with vulnerability scanning tools DoD related project background Education and Training Required BA/BS in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or relevant field. Equivalent Experience accepted.
