- A Civil Engineer in a Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) setting would play a crucial role in ensuring the design, construction, and maintenance of restaurant locations.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and permitting processes.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
- Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling).
- Knowledge of QSR brand standards and design guidelines.
- Familiarity with local regulations and permitting processes. Key Responsibility Area
- Design and development of restaurant layouts, including site planning, structural design, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems.
- Ensuring compliance with local building codes, regulations, and brand standards.
- Collaboration with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Conducting site visits to monitor construction progress and address any issues.
- Reviewing and approving shop drawings and documents.
- Experience in construction, architecture, or a related field, preferably in the QSR or retail industry.
