Rita's Catering is looking for dependable, energetic, and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Catering Delivery Drivers! If you have experience as a restaurant team member, server, food runner, banquet attendant, catering associate, kitchen staff member, or delivery driver, we encourage you to apply. This is more than a traditional driving position.

Our Catering Delivery Drivers are an important part of the guest experience, ensuring every order is prepared, packed, delivered, and professionally presented to our clients. We're looking for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced food service environment, take pride in their work, and understand the importance of delivering exceptional hospitality.

What You'll Do

Catering Preparation & Order Accuracy Assist with organizing, packing, and preparing catering orders for daily deliveries. Verify orders for accuracy, presentation, and completeness before leaving the facility. Ensure food, beverages, supplies, and catering equipment are properly loaded and secured. Collaborate with kitchen, catering, and loading dock teams to ensure timely departures.

Delivery & Guest Service Safely deliver catering orders to corporate offices, businesses, private events, and other client locations. Professionally set up catering displays, food stations, and orders according to client expectations. Provide friendly, attentive, and professional customer service during every delivery.

Communicate effectively with clients and internal team members regarding deliveries and special instructions. Represent Rita's Catering with a positive attitude and hospitality-focused approach. Equipment & Daily Operations Return to client locations to retrieve catering equipment, supplies, and service items as needed.

Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting catering supplies. Support last-minute purchasing and supply pickups when necessary. Maintain clean, organized, and presentable delivery vehicles. Conduct basic vehicle inspections and promptly report maintenance concerns. Complete delivery documentation and obtain client signatures when required.

Assist with additional catering operations and special events as needed. Provide excellent customer service and communicate professionally. Are comfortable lifting, carrying, loading, and unloading catering equipment and supplies.

Can manage multiple deliveries and follow schedules efficiently. Enjoy being active and working outside of a traditional desk setting.

Requirements

Valid driver's license and clean driving record required. Ability to safely operate company delivery vehicles. Ability to work an early morning schedule, beginning between 5:00 AM and 6:00 AM. Availability for occasional weekends, holidays, or additional catering events based on business needs. Ability to lift and transport catering trays, food containers, beverages, and equipment.

Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills. Restaurant, hospitality, catering, or delivery experience preferred. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous catering delivery experience is a plus, but not required. We value restaurant and hospitality experience, reliability, and a willingness to learn!
