• Pryor, OK, Salary Range: $16.00Hourly, Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Location: COLONIAL TERRACE CARE CENTER, Oklahoma Department: Nursing Reports To: Charge Nurse / Director of Nursing Job Summary The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct and indirect resident care activities under the supervision of a licensed nurse. The CNA supports residents in maintaining comfort, dignity, and quality of life while adhering to facility policies and state regulations. AVAILABLE SHIFTS: 1400-2200 Monday-Friday, 0600-2200 Saturday & Sunday-WEEKEND DOUBLES-EVERY WEEKEND. RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION IS A MUST!

Key Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding Take and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) Observe and report changes in residents’ physical, emotional, and mental conditions to nursing staff Assist with mobility, including transferring, positioning, and ambulation Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents Respond promptly to call lights and resident requests Document care provided accurately and in a timely manner Support infection control practices and follow safety protocols Assist with meal service and ensure proper nutrition and hydration Provide compassionate emotional support to residents and their families Experience Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred, but not required Skills & Abilities Strong interpersonal and communication skills Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team Physical ability to lift, move, and assist residents (may require lifting up to 50 lbs) Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Work Environment Skilled nursing and long-term care facility May require standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods Exposure to infectious diseases and bodily fluids Licensure & Requirements (Oklahoma-Specific) Active CNA certification listed in the Oklahoma Nurse Aide Registry Must pass a background check and drug screening per state regulations Compliance with all Oklahoma State Department of Health guidelines Qualifications: Qualifications Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Oklahoma High school diploma or GED preferred Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Basic computer skills for documentation
