Health Clerk/District Para

Provides basic first aid, cares for sick or injured students, takes temperatures, and contacts parents when children need to go home. Dispenses prescribed medications following doctor orders and district policies while keeping accurate logs. Maintains confidential student health files, including immunizations, emergency contacts, and medical alerts.

Coordinates vision screenings and immunization van visits. Covers Pre-K through High School classes. Performs para duties such as but not limited to making copies, filing, working with students individually and with small groups, supervising recess, cafeteria duty, before school and after school duties.
