Patient Care Tech - PCT - Lebanon, IN

The key duties of this position are a vital link to efficient, well organized operations on the patient care units. As a valued member of the healthcare team, this individual must effectively communicate with all personnel throughout the organization as well as patients and visitors. This position must be able to demonstrate flexibility by adjusting to changes in the volume of patients per unit.

Will be required to assume additional clerical or patient care duties for assigned nursing areas on each shift. Will also demonstrate competency when performing in the role of a nursing assistant. Must assist professional nursing personnel with routine duties by performing basic patient care procedures. Takes vital signs, assists patients with personal hygiene, feeds and ambulates patients.
