As a system administrator on our team, you’ll leverage your extensive experience with servers and desktops, as well as managing Linux operating systems and automation. This role involves managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security. You Have: 3+ years of experience in a Linux system administration role Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible or Puppet Experience with vulnerability scanning tools such as Nessus or Qualys Experience analyzing vulnerability scan results and prioritizing remediation efforts Knowledge of common security frameworks such as NIST 800-53, defense STIGs, or CIS Benchmarks Ability to travel up to 25% of the time Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance HS diploma or GED DoD 8570 IAT Level II compliant Certification such as Security+ CE Certification Nice If You Have: Experience with compliance frameworks in DoD or federal environments Experience working in research or laboratory environments Experience with enterprise security tools such as ACAS, Splunk, or SIEM platforms Experience with Canonical Ubuntu Pro or Red Hat Enterprise Linux Knowledge of Risk Management Framework ( RMF ) or Authorization to Operate ( ATO ) processes TS/SCI clearance Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, CS, IT, or a related field Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
