Posting Title: Surgical Onco Industry: Hospital Salary: ₹400000 to 500000 LPM Work Experience: 3 years Responsibilities:

  • Perform complex surgical procedures including wide local excisions, limb-sparing surgeries, and reconstructive interventions for bone and soft tissue sarcomas.
  • Lead and participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards to determine optimal treatment strategies for oncology patients.
  • Conduct palliative surgical interventions to relieve symptoms, manage complications, and improve patient comfort in advanced-stage cancers.
  • Perform complete tumor resection with margin-negative outcomes, utilizing intraoperative imaging and frozen section analysis when indicated.
  • Collaborate with rehabilitation specialists, physiotherapists, and prosthetists to optimize postoperative recovery and functional outcomes.
  • Maintain detailed, accurate surgical records and contribute to clinical documentation in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
  • Mentor junior surgical residents and fellows in oncological surgical techniques and patient management.
  • Stay current with advancements in surgical oncology through continuous professional development and participation in clinical trials. Requirements:
  • MBBS with postgraduate qualification in General Surgery (MS/MD) and a recognized specialization in Surgical Oncology (Diploma or Fellowship).
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in surgical oncology, with documented expertise in bone and soft tissue sarcoma surgery.
  • Proven experience in palliative surgical procedures and tumor resection in complex oncological cases.
  • Strong understanding of oncological staging systems (AJCC/UICC), treatment protocols, and multidisciplinary care models.
  • Proficiency in advanced surgical techniques including microvascular reconstruction, intraoperative radiation therapy (IORT), and minimally invasive approaches where applicable.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills with the ability to work effectively in high-pressure clinical environments.
  • Valid registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) and relevant state medical councils.
  • Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and emergency surgical duties as required.
