People Operations Generalist

Position Summary

The People Operations Generalist supports day-to-day human resources operations, including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, performance management, compliance, and People Operations programs. This role partners with leaders and employees to deliver a positive employee experience while ensuring adherence to company policies and employment regulations.

This position is an on-site role located at 14959 Jacintoport Blvd, Suite #200, Houston, TX 77015.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as a resource for employee questions, concerns, and HR-related guidance. Assist with employee relations matters and workplace investigations. Administer benefits, leave programs, and HR policies. Maintain employee records and HRIS data accuracy. Support local recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and offboarding activities.

Support performance management, employee engagement, and training initiatives. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Prepare HR reports and assist with HR projects and process improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. 3+ years of HR experience in a generalist or related HR role. Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ADP. HR certification (SHRM-CP or PHR) preferred.
