Summary: This challenging position is a great opportunity for the right candidate to become a part of a dedicated team of aerospace manufacturing professionals. We are looking for a highly motivated and team-oriented applicant to deburr or polish surfaces of parts using a variety of small hand power tools and materials.

Essential Functions

Processes major aerospace parts per specifications Creates edge breaks and removes burs per work instructions or blueprint Polishes machined edges and surfaces per work instructions or blueprint Manual break of edges and shoeshine of broach slots Process holes per customer specifications and work instructions Use various tools and methods to check dimensions of completed deburr work Processing of blisk surface finish/transition lines of blades using handheld power tools Rework of aerospace parts to conform to customer blueprint per work instructions Perform other related duties or responsibilities as required Required Qualifications & Experience: Must be a “U.

S. Person” as defined by the U.S. Government and able to work without restrictions with ITAR related data High School Degree or G.E.D 1+ years of experience in a Manufacturing environment Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Must be able to read, write, understand, and speak English at a functional level Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of the organization Ability to interpret policies, procedures, and standard business practices Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering work instructions Must have strong attention to detail Ability to travel domestically – 10% max Physical Demands / Work Capacity Evaluation The essential functions of this position may vary based on specific assignments, work locations, and operational needs.
