Home Health Aide

Job Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide support with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as feeding, mobility assistance, and exercising.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the supervising nurse.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks related to patient care, such as changing bed linens, laundry, and maintaining a clean living environment.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
• Assist with basic medication reminders as directed by the supervising nurse.
• Ensure patient safety by adhering to established care plans and health guidelines.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress.
• Comply with home health regulations and company policies.
• E nsure compliance with the organization's Code of Conduct and all applicable laws, including HIPAA regulations for the protection of sensitive information.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned to meet the needs of the department and organization. <div
