Water Taxi Captain

This service, a favorite among locals and tourists alike, offering a unique perspective of Erie's stunning coastline. Operating seasonally, typically from May to October, the water taxi provides a convenient and enjoyable means of traveling between Liberty Park and Presque Isle's Waterworks area. The taxi service runs frequently throughout the day, ensuring guests won't have to wait long to embark on their voyage.

The boat, certified to carry up to 26 passengers, makes trips back and forth roughly every half hour, depending on demand. REQUIRED: Minimum requirement for license is 25-ton Masters Captains License Great Lakes/Inland. Desired is 100-ton. Applicant must reside within commuting distance to downtown Erie PA for duration of season.

SCHEDULE: Job is for 1-3 days per week (from 11am to 7:30 pm) from May-October. CLASSIFICATION: Part time employment, 1099 contract.
