HIRING FULL AND PART-TIME POSITIONS! Headchop Studio and Lil' Chop are dry cutting salons located in North and South Williamsburg. Our specialty is dry cutting for all hair textures, shapes, and sizes. Our services include dry cuts, natural curl sets, and blowouts. Plan to start a new chapter in your career with us! True team players who have experience working in a salon environment. This position has potential for growth within both of our salons. (Headchop + Lil' Chop) Salon Assistant Responsibilities Work directly with stylist on their clients of all hair textures and types Perform hair cleansing, blowdrying, and natural curl set styling Maintain the flow of the salon by keeping track of stylist timing and needs as they work Facilitate a clean, tidy, and organized working environment Have a strong awareness of your surroundings Can perform quality work, fast and efficiently Excellent multitasker Conducts themselves with a professional and knowledgeable demeanor Support clients and team mates with kindness and understanding Laundry Stock towels, products, and retail inventory In addition to shampooing hair and performing styling services, you should be willing to perform light cleaning duties, such as sweeping the floor and doing towel laundry.

As our Salon Assistant, you also help with receptionist duties involved in opening and closing the studio. We expect all of our salon stylists and assistants to represent the aesthetic of our studio and keep our clients coming back! Salon Assistant Requirements and Qualifications Cosmetology license strongly preferred Completion of a cosmetology school program or actively working through a cosmetology program Customer service skills Flexible schedule with weekend availability Can retain product and styling knowledge and educate clients on their needs You'll be expected to wear a branded uniform apron over company approved attire.
