7.5 Tonne Driver

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Warrington area. We are looking for multiple 7.5 Tonne drivers to join the team. Hours: Monday to Friday 07:30am starts Pay Rates: £16.05 PAYE Per Hour Location: Warrington, WA4 Job Type: Temp to perm The role: Deliveries and collections.

Manual handling heavily involved including loading and unloading parcels at depots and customer locations. Handling devices and company software to update delivery statuses. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle, ensuring road worthiness and compliance with company standards. Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to maintain a high level of safety on the road.

Effectively communicate with dispatch and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.

Requirements

Full UK licence with 7.5 tonne entitlement (CAT C1). 1 year experience required. Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card. No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only). Full understanding of WTD legislation. Excellent communication skills. A safety-first mindset.
