Supervisor Major Maintenance

About the role

As the Major Maintenance Supervisor, you'll lead the planning and execution of major maintenance programs that underpin the performance and reliability of Hydro’s generation assets. Leading a team of technical specialists, you'll provide leadership, guidance and support to deliver safe, efficient and high-quality maintenance outcomes while balancing operational priorities, asset risk and cost.

Working closely with stakeholders across Production Operations and Assets & Infrastructure, you'll oversee maintenance scheduling, budgeting, project delivery and continuous improvement initiatives. You'll play a key role in strengthening team capability, optimising maintenance practices and ensuring the long-term effectiveness of maintenance strategies About you: You bring experience leading maintenance, operations or asset-focused teams and have a strong understanding of how to balance safety, reliability, risk and cost to achieve operational outcomes.

You are an effective planner and collaborator, with experience managing maintenance programs, budgets and project delivery while working across a diverse range of stakeholders. Your strong problem-solving and decision-making skills enable you to navigate complex challenges, while your passion for mentoring and developing people helps build capable, engaged and high-performing teams.

Experience with asset management systems such as SAP and the ability to coach, influence and support technical specialists will be key to your success in this role.
