Job description

Posting Title: Pediatrician Industry: Hospital Salary: ₹250,000 to ₹250,000 LPM Work Experience: 2 years Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough physical examinations, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning for pediatric patients across all age groups.
  • Provide expert care in high-acuity environments including NICU and PICU, managing critical conditions such as respiratory distress, sepsis, congenital anomalies, and neonatal emergencies.
  • Deliver timely and effective emergency pediatric care in the hospital’s emergency department, including trauma stabilization and acute illness management.
  • Manage routine and complex outpatient consultations in the OPD, ensuring accurate diagnosis, patient education, and follow-up care.
  • Collaborate with neonatologists, pediatric surgeons, nurses, and other specialists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Maintain detailed, accurate, and timely electronic medical records in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and emergency response protocols as required.
  • Stay current with advancements in pediatric medicine through continuous professional development and participation in clinical audits and case reviews.
  • Contribute to hospital quality improvement programs and adherence to clinical guidelines and protocols. Requirements:
  • MBBS degree with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Pediatrics (MD/DPB or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 2 years of postgraduate clinical experience in pediatric care, with hands-on experience in NICU, PICU, OPD, and emergency pediatric care.
  • Valid and active registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or relevant state medical council.
  • Proven expertise in managing neonatal and pediatric emergencies, including resuscitation, intubation, and critical care interventions.
  • Strong diagnostic, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to explain complex medical information to parents and caregivers.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and medical documentation software.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple patients, and adapt to dynamic clinical environments.
  • Commitment to patient safety, ethical medical practice, and continuous learning.
  • Willingness to participate in on-call duties and shift rotations as per hospital requirements.
