Full-Time Special Education Paraeducator

We are seeking full time Special Education Paraeducators to join our Teams at all schools. As a Special Education Paraeducator, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with special needs, ensuring they receive the best possible educational experience. Your compassion, patience and commitment to inclusivity will make a significant impact on the lives of our students.

Key Responsibilities

Work closely with special education teachers to implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students. Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special needs, offering assistance with academic and social skills development. Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment, promoting positive behavior and emotional well-being.

Support students during meals, recess and other non-academic activities. Document student progress and communicate effectively with teachers. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive and effective educational experience for all students.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent. Position offers: Health, dental and life insurance coverage. Retirement plan. Paid time off and paid holidays. $16.94 per hour. Hours are: High School 7:15am-1:45pm Middle School 8:00am-2:30pm Intermediate School 8:45am-3:15 Additional and/or summer hours are available either at the school or our Family Resource Center EOE
