Production Operator

Job Description: 📍 Melton Mowbray 💷 £36,500 - £37,000 (including shift allowance, DOE) 🎁 + Performance Bonus & Exceptional Benefits 🕒 39 Hours per week -Rotating 12-hour shifts: 7-7, 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off 💼 The Role As a Production Operator , you will be responsible for operating and optimising production processes, troubleshooting equipment issues and driving continuous improvement.

A Continuous Improvement Mindset : You have a track record of identifying and eliminating waste. Direct experience with the Manufacturing Excellence pillars (AM, FMOS, E+T, FI) is a major advantage. Natural Coaching Skills : You enjoy sharing your knowledge and seeing others succeed. You have a collaborative spirit and the ability to train and mentor your teammates effectively.

You will master our production processes, establish critical centrelines and CIL’s, and be the first line of defence in troubleshooting to ensure we meet our quality and performance targets without fail. Drive Continuous Improvement : Be the engine of our Manufacturing Excellence culture on the floor. You will facilitate Daily Management System (DMS) Process’s, use data to dig into the root cause of problems, and spearhead focused improvement activities that eliminate waste and boost efficiency.
