Shift Leader

Shift Leader At Newk's Eatery , our Shift Leaders help create a great guest experience every shift. You lead day-to-day operations, support your team in delivering quality food and friendly service, and help the restaurant run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. Schedule type: Full-time and part-time What you'll do Lead and motivate team members to deliver the Newk's Experience, with a focus on guest satisfaction Support front- and/or back-of-house operations to ensure standards, policies, and procedures are followed Monitor food quality, cleanliness, and safety practices throughout the shift Coordinate shift tasks, prioritize needs as they arise, and ensure products are prepared and served correctly Assist with cash handling and operational accuracy as needed Maintain a respectful, positive, and professional work environment Support recruiting, training, and coaching efforts to help team members succeed Communicate clearly with management and other team leads to drive consistency What we're looking for Leadership experience in a restaurant or customer-focused environment (preferred) Strong communication skills and the ability to coach others in the moment Commitment to safety, sanitation, and quality standards Ability to manage multiple priorities during busy periods A professional, guest-first attitude and a team-centered mindset Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends Why Newk's You'll be part of a brand that values quality, teamwork, and creating an experience guests remember. Pay: $12 per hour

Requirements

Must have a valid driver's license; 1-2 years of restaurant experience; Must be able to work nights and weekends
