Miltec UV is seeking a full-time Inside Sales Representative to join our Inside Sales Team.

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Inside Sales Representative. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will manage the full lifecycle of customer orders, from quoting and pricing through production, fulfillment, billing, and post-sale support. This position serves as a central hub, coordinating with Sales, Production, Engineering, and Accounting to ensure accurate processing, on-time delivery, and strong customer satisfaction.

The role oversees pricing, customer accounts, complaints and RMAs, collections support and maintains accurate data in CRM and ERP systems. This position reports directly to Miltec’s Inside Sales Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage the sales cycle, including preparing quotes and processing customer orders.
• Serve as a primary contact for customer inquiries, order updates, and escalations; follow issues through to resolution.
• Support Sales Estimators and outside sales representatives with quotations and customer coordination.
• Maintain accurate pricing, discounts, payment terms, and customer order details.
• Monitor customer accounts for credit concerns and assist with collections and payments as needed.
• Maintain complete and accurate customer and sales records in CRM (ACT!) and Sage.
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering, and Quality to resolve order questions and keep deliveries on schedule.
• Track orders through production and help address inventory, supply, or timing issues.
• Research parts, assist with part identification, and coordinate setup of new parts as needed.
• Manage and maintain a comprehensive lamp specification database containing technical, application, and cross reference information for all UV lamps.
• Manage customer complaints and return material authorizations (RMAs), coordinating timely follow-up.
• Help schedule service and training visits and support related documentation and invoicing.
• Maintain role-related procedures and documentation and follow company policies and processes.
• Perform other related duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or at least five years of applicable experience.
• Strong customer-service and communication skills, including the ability to work professionally with customers and colleagues across different locations and cultures.
• Ability and interest to learn technical product information and communicate it clearly.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word; familiarity with customer-management software.
• Ability to understand and communicate with team members about work-related information.
• Ability to learn and understand Miltec’s products and technical capabilities. Additional Attributes Willing to accept other duties as needed Willing to take required training classes Bilingual abilities are a plus Education and/or Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or 5+ years of applicable experience. Physical Requirements Work is sedentary in nature – regularly required to sit, walk and stand. Must be able to talk and hear in-person and by telephone.
