Job description
Roles& Responsibilities Perform accurate coding of diagnoses and CPT codes in accordance with ICD-10-CM and CPT guidelines. Ensure coding accuracy of at least 98%. Review and analyze medical records to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accurate documentation. Work closely with healthcare providers to clarify documentation as needed for accurate coding.
Stay up to date with the latest coding guidelines, ICD codes, and industry trends. Maintain confidentiality and always comply with HIPAA regulations. Communicate effectively with medical staff, patients, and other team members. Ensure coding is performed in a timely manner to avoid billing delays.
Requirements
- CPC certification
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience
- Inpatient, Outpatient & SDS
- Should have an excellent command and proficiency in E/M Inpatient & Outpatient & and all procedure coding
- Good Communication
- Accuracy 98%
- Candidate with no break in service
- Multispecialty coder (Cardiothoracic, vascular, orthopedics, general surgery, Ophthalmology, OBGYN, Plastics, Oncology, Radiation therapy).
