Maintenance Technician IV - Fleet Mechanic

The City of Roanoke is seeking an experienced, self-motivated individual to perform skilled mechanical work on heavy and light power-driven equipment as a Maintenance Technician IV. The successful candidate will serve as expert resource in the guidance and instruction of the work of subordinate mechanics and service workers and diagnose, adjust, repair and service the full range of power-driven equipment used by the City including diesel or gasoline engine equipment, air compressors, pump apparatus and aerial truck hydraulic systems.
