Housekeeping Attendant

Role The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation in guest rooms and assigned public areas. This role ensures a comfortable and welcoming environment for guests by delivering exceptional housekeeping services, responding to guest needs professionally, and upholding the hotel's quality and service standards.

Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional guest room cleaning services, ensuring all rooms meet Aman standards and provide a comfortable, relaxing experience for guests. Clean and maintain assigned guest rooms and surrounding public areas to the highest level of cleanliness and presentation. Greet guests warmly, respond to requests promptly, and provide courteous and professional service at all times.

Build positive guest relationships and effectively handle guest requests, inquiries, and complaints related to rooms and hotel services. Follow the Lost and Found procedure and report any items left behind in accordance with company policy. Identify and report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and health and safety concerns to the Housekeeping Supervisor.

Maintain high standards of quality, attention to detail, professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical conduct. Support housekeeping operations during peak periods and ensure all assigned areas remain clean, organized, and well-maintained. Work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment, demonstrating flexibility, multitasking ability, and composure under pressure.

Contribute to a warm, welcoming, and professional atmosphere by ensuring housekeeping services are delivered efficiently, courteously, and in line with departmental standards and procedures.

Requirements

Previous experience in housekeeping within a hotel or hospitality environment is an advantage. Basic knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, and housekeeping standards. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
