Shape the Future of Wealth Management Technology At Perpetual , we're looking for an experienced Applications Manager to lead the strategy, optimisation, and delivery of a critical portfolio of applications supporting our Wealth Management business. Perpetual Group is an ASX-listed company (ASX:PPT) headquartered in Sydney, Australia, currently consisting of 11 leading brands across three distinct businesses: Asset Management, Wealth Management and Corporate Trust. As Applications Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of a portfolio of business-critical applications, overseeing their strategy, lifecycle, performance, and continuous improvement.
You will collaborate closely with senior business stakeholders, technology teams, and external partners to deliver innovative, secure, and efficient solutions that enhance business processes and customer outcomes This role offers a unique opportunity to influence business priorities, lead technology-enabled transformation initiatives, and drive application excellence across a dynamic Wealth Management environment.
About the Role
Own and deliver application and platform outcomes that support Wealth Management business objectives. Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, identifying opportunities for technology-led business transformation. Manage demand intake, prioritisation, enhancement pipelines, releases, and initiatives to ensure alignment with strategic outcomes.
Lead application portfolio financial planning, budgeting, cost optimisation, and investment prioritisation. Drive business process improvement, platform adoption, and the effective use of application capabilities and data assets. Oversee service management practices including incident, problem, change, knowledge, and capacity management.
Develop and govern long-term application and platform strategies, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and business goals.
About You
10+ years' experience in application management, including leadership of development and support teams. Proven experience managing enterprise applications, SaaS platforms, and vendor-managed services. Strong background in business process improvement and platform optimisation. Demonstrated success partnering with senior business stakeholders and influencing strategic decisions.
Experience working within Agile, DevOps, and ITIL environments. Experience leveraging Microsoft Copilot, AI technologies, or intelligent automation to improve efficiency and business outcomes.
