Compensation

is flat rate, up to $50 per hour based on Ford certifications.

Responsibilities

Perform repairs and maintenance specified on repair orders efficiently and according to dealership and Ford standards

Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning

Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment

Perform warranty repairs according to Ford procedures and specifications

Communicate diagnostic findings, repair recommendations, and estimated completion times clearly to the Service Advisor

Document all findings, repairs, and required information accurately

Ensure repairs are completed correctly and efficiently

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Follow all dealership policies and applicable safety regulations

Qualifications

At least two years of automotive service technician experience preferred

Ford certification required

ASE certification preferred

Previous Ford dealership experience preferred

B-level or higher qualifications, including diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair experience

Strong mechanical and troubleshooting abilities

Proficiency with electronic diagnostic tools and equipment

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics

Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new technology, repair procedures, and specifications

Strong attention to detail and time-management skills

Positive attitude and commitment to continued professional development

Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment

High school diploma or equivalent

Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
