Job description

About Palmetto Bluff and Anson Point Palmetto Bluff is a distinctive 20,000-acre community nestled between the May, New and Cooper Rivers in the Lowcountry of South Carolina, between Hilton Head Island and Savannah. The property is home to an exceptional collection of recreational and lifestyle amenities, including the Palmetto Bluff Golf Club, marina, equestrian center, racquet facilities, restaurants, nature preserve, and vibrant village.

Anson Point, designed by acclaimed golf course architects Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw, represents a distinctive expression of golf at Palmetto Bluff. Rooted in traditional golf architecture and with the core values of our Conservancy Team. The course features strategic playing corridors, natural contours, native vegetation, maritime forests, grand live oaks, and salt marsh vistas.

The golf course's maintained turfgrass footprint includes approximately 55 acres of Zeon Zoysia, 3.25 acres of Tif. Eagle ultradwarf Bermuda greens and 60 acres of prescribed burned forestry management areas. These playing surfaces require thoughtful agronomic management to deliver consistent conditions while preserving the architectural integrity and natural character of the course.

Anson Point offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the long-term care and presentation of a distinctive golf experience where exceptional playing conditions, sound agronomic practices, and environmental stewardship work together.
