Asphalt Crew Chief

This is a skilled, full-time, non-exempt position under the direct supervision of the Streets Superintendent. The Public Works Crew Chief (Asphalt) performs and oversees a variety of skilled and semi-skilled tasks related to the construction, maintenance, and repair of City streets, rights-of-way, sidewalks, curbs, drainage systems, and other City-owned infrastructure.

The incumbent supervises a crew engaged in asphalt paving, patching, roadway maintenance, concrete work, landscaping, mowing, and related public works activities by assigning work, monitoring progress, ensuring quality workmanship, and maintaining safe work practices.
