Tools and Parts Attendant

Function: The Tools and Parts Attendant receives, stores, and issues hand tools, machine tools, dies, replacement parts, shop supplies and equipment, such as measuring devices. Required experience: Minimum of one (1) year experience and specific knowledge of tools and parts; Familiarity with wide range of tools and equipment associated with support of tracked and wheeled vehicle maintenance effort; Basic knowledge of generally accepted warehousing concepts such as storage layout, locator systems, and proper material handling procedures.

Must have or be able to obtain licenses/certifications as needed to perform duties; Must have a valid and current state driver’s license; Must be able to operate a government general-purpose vehicle; Must possess basic computer skills; Ability to work in a team environment. Required education: High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
