What You Will Do

(Job Summary)

• The Registered Nurse Pre. Op PACU provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient's condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. Will provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation; assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge. This position will also have oversight for the center's Infection Control program. This includes infection surveillance, policy compliance, staff education, regulatory readiness, quality improvement initiatives, and implementation of evidence-based infection prevention practices to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Part Time requires 20 - 29 hours/ week.
