Job Summary

Join St. Joseph Healthcare —a distinguished member of Covenant Health—as a full-time BE/BC Anesthesiologist at our 80-bed acute care hospital located in the scenic heart of Bangor, Maine. This key role will support (6) operating and (4) endoscopy suites, handling a diverse case mix that includes: 40% Orthopedic 30% General Surgery 30% mix of Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery, Podiatry, and Gynecology At St.

In this position, you can look forward to the following benefits: Exceptional work-life balance 85 days off per year (40 days PTO per year, with 44 Post call days off.) 1 in 7 call schedules (30 minute call back – not in-house) Focus on your specialty with NO Cardiothoracic, Trauma, or Obstetrics cases Case Loads average per day: 15-20 cases (across 6 OR suites) 35 Endoscopy procedures (across 4 Endoscopy suites).

A fulfilling 50/50 workload split between direct patient care and medical direction of experienced CRNA’s. (1:4 Staffing Model) Competitive compensation ($525k) and a comprehensive benefits package (effective day on of employment).
