Prefab - Union General Laborer

About the Role

Our prefabrication division is a 120,000sf facility located in Walton, KY, producing construction components and fully assembled panelized systems for commercial construction projects. Prefab General Laborers will work in a controlled manufacturing environment keeping the workspace clean, moving materials, and handling routine duties to ensure daily production runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with machine operation (CNC machines, Roll-former, Shearer, Folding machine) Load, unload, sort, and transport raw materials, parts, tools, and finished goods around the shop floor using pallet jacks, hand trucks, or forklifts Maintain shop cleanliness and a safe working environment, sweep floors, remove scrap, trash, and debris, and empty waste bins Support inventory control, count stock, track incoming or outgoing supplies, and report low inventory or broken equipment to the supervisor Follow all company safety rules, wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and report hazards immediately Qualifications Valley participates in E-verify.

Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the USA within three (3) days of start date. Must be able to provide a copy of your union card within seven (7) days of employment. If you do not belong to a union, you are expected to join (Dues paid by you.) Unions differ by position and by city. All job offers are contingent upon successfully completing a drug test.

High School diploma and/or GED required. You may be required to provide some of your own hand tools. Strong understanding of commercial construction practices and requirements Ability to lift <100 lbs, stand for extended periods, work in conditions that are not always climate controlled, sometimes work from elevate surfaces.
