Certified Medical Assistant/ATC Lead for Surgeon Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant or Certified Athletic Trainer to join one of our very busy orthopedic surgeon's team as a clinic lead. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care and medical administrative support, with experience in an orthopedic clinic setting a plus.

This role requires a compassionate individual who can effectively assist healthcare providers while ensuring a positive experience for patients. Duties Provide direct patient care, including taking vital signs and performing intake assessments. Administer medications as prescribed and assist with procedures. Maintain accurate patient records using EHR systems, ensuring compliance with medical terminology and coding standards such as ICD coding.

Support physicians in the outpatient orthopedic clinic. Educate patients on treatment plans, medication administration, and follow-up care instructions. Skills Proficient knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to patient care. Experience in orthopedics preferred. Familiarity with basic life support techniques. Strong understanding of medical administrative support tasks including appointment scheduling and insurance verification, pre op clearance Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments. Knowledge of orthopedic/musculoskeletal care principles is a plus, along with any relevant certifications or training in specialized areas of medicine.
