Job description

We are looking for a driven and technically-minded Energy Storage Sales Representative to expand our customer base and manage client relationships. You will sell our energy storage systems to residential homeowners, commercial & industrial (C&I) clients, installers, and project developers.

Key Responsibilities

Identify, prospect, and acquire new customers in the energy storage market (residential, commercial, or utility segments). Present and demonstrate our battery storage products and solutions to potential clients. Prepare and deliver technical/commercial proposals, quotations, and tenders. Negotiate contracts and close sales deals to meet monthly/quarterly targets.

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with installers, EPCs, and distributors. Stay updated on local energy policies, grid regulations, and battery incentives (e.g., net metering, tax credits, demand charge reduction). Collaborate with the technical support and product teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

Represent the company at industry trade shows, conferences, and customer sites.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). Experience: 2+ years of B2B or B2C sales experience, preferably in solar, batteries, inverters, or renewable energy. Technical knowledge: Understanding of lithium-ion batteries, round-trip efficiency, depth of discharge (DoD), cycle life, and basic AC/DC coupling.

Proven track record: Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales quotas. Communication: Excellent presentation, negotiation, and closing skills. Languages: Fluent in English (additional local languages a plus). Tools: Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office. Travel: Willingness to travel to client sites and industry events as needed.

Willing to render overtime work on Saturdays, as required by business needs. Preferred (Nice to Have): Existing network of solar installers, EPCs, or distributors. Experience selling to C&I or utility-scale projects (e.g., peak shaving, load shifting). Knowledge of battery certifications (UL9540, IEC, VDE) and grid codes.
