Research Associate - Genotyping Technology

Rice. Tec is seeking to hire an experienced high-throughput genotyping technologists, as a Research Associate, for its Alvin, TX, rice research and seed quality DNA Laboratory supporting Rice. Tec global Breeding and Seed Production operations. This role reports to Lab Operation Lead and will focus on overall genotyping process optimization to maximize productivity; liquid handling robotics and PCR systems program/scrip optimization; scheduling optimization; process and system monitoring; fault-detection; problem solving; preventive maintenance and related activities, for DNA and Assay management.
