The Senior Proposal & Marketing Coordinator is an experienced member of RJM Construction’s marketing team, responsible for leading proposal development and supporting strategic marketing initiatives that strengthen RJM’s brand, messaging, and overall marketing efforts. This role requires a creative, schedule-driven, and highly communicative professional with a minimum of 7–10 years of AEC marketing and/or proposal experience. Working closely with the Marketing Manager, this individual helps shape proposal strategy, positioning, messaging, and direction. They take ownership of proposal schedules, coordination, content development, and execution, ensuring teams stay aligned and deadlines remain on track. The ideal candidate builds trusted relationships, communicates proactively, takes ownership of outcomes, and consistently looks for ways to improve the quality of the Pwork. This position is well suited for a creative thinker and talented writer who is highly organized, detail-oriented, schedule-driven, and eager to grow as a leader. ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES Proposal & Pursuit Leadership Lead RFQs, RFPs, proposals, qualifications, and interview materials from kickoff through submission. Partner with the Marketing Manager to develop pursuit strategy, positioning, messaging, and proposal direction. Own proposal schedules, assignments, reviews, and deadlines, proactively communicating needs and changes Collaborate with pursuit teams to understand client priorities and develop compelling, client-focused content. Continuously improve proposal resources, processes, storytelling, and overall pursuit effectiveness. Marketing & Creative Strategy Collaborate with the Marketing Manager on marketing priorities, campaigns, communications, and brand initiatives. Develop and refine content for proposals, presentations, campaigns, recruiting, and other marketing efforts. Partner with the Marketing Coordinator on proposal production, graphics, layouts, and design-focused deliverables. Identify opportunities to strengthen RJM’s brand, improve processes, and deliver greater value. Use CRM data and marketing resources to support pursuit planning and business development efforts. Maintain organized project experience, staff qualifications, proposal content, photography, and marketing assets. Conduct market/client research for tailored marketing collateral, marketing campaigns, and pursuits Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, business, or a related field. Work Experience: Minimum of 7 years of proposal and marketing experience within the AEC industry Demonstrated Technical Competencies to include: Required: Adobe In. Design, Adobe Acrobat, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Preferred: Microsoft Teams, Adobe Illustrator, CRM experience, WordPress Demonstrated Professional Competencies to include: Communicate with urgency, clarity, and purpose, anticipating questions, needs, risks, and changing priorities. Take ownership of commitments, proactively solve challenges, and keep people and deliverables moving forward. Lead and collaborate confidently across teams while supporting and mentoring other marketing team members. Mentor and develop other marketing team members by sharing knowledge, providing guidance, and supporting their professional growth. Demonstrate adaptability, sound judgment, continuous improvement, and a desire to grow into greater leadership responsibility. Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

Compensation

& Benefits: The per annum base pay range is $84k to $110k. The base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills and abilities. The position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include travel pay and/or a bonus or incentive program.
