Accountant

Our client is seeking an Accountant to join the Coega, Port Elizabeth team

• Prepare and review monthly management accounts
• Assist with annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS
• Ensure accurate general ledger maintenance and reconciliations
• Support statutory reporting and regulatory compliance
• Assist with preparation and review of income tax, VAT, and provisional tax calculations
• Liaise with SARS and external tax advisors where required
• Ensure timely submission of tax returns
• Perform financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
• Identify cost-saving and efficiency improvement opportunities
• Support decision-making through financial insights and reporting
• Assist in designing and maintaining internal controls Requirements
• Qualified CA(SA) – with 1- 2 years of experience or Newly Qualified CA(SA)
• Strong exposure to IFRS, audit, and financial reporting during articles
• Strong Excel skills
• Experience with SYSPRO advantageous
